How to clean your cell phone?

There are many infected surfaces you come in contact with daily, like the elevator buttons, door handles, handrails, and so on. That is why one has to wash hands many times and thoroughly. Regular sanitizing can help reduce the risk of coming into contact with different kinds of germs.

Among all other surfaces, a cell phone is that one surface that you use almost everywhere and is the most infected surface that you come in contact with. You use your cell phone everywhere and every time after you touch elevator buttons, door handles, and handrails.

How filthy that will make your cell phones! The phone screen hosts all significant viruses, and that is the main reason people fall ill. You may be carrying a germful device around in your hand, and thus, it is imperative to keep your cell phone clean.

Steps to clean your cell phone

Step 1 – Remove the back cover of your cell phone and switch it off.

Step 2 – Polish the complete casing of your cell phone with a microfiber cloth. Cleaning the cell phone with a microfiber cloth will remove all germs from your mobile. Any further dirt or smudges on the mobile can be cleaned with the microfiber cloth.

Step 3 – Now take a Lysol disinfectant wipe and wipe the whole cell phone surface avoiding the ports and jacks on the mobile. Lysol can effectively neutralize the leftover germs according to the Forte.

Step 4 – Now air-dry the mobile phone for at least 5 minutes. Experts say that a disinfectant takes 4 minutes of air dry to wipe out the germs from the surface. Leave it to dry so that the disinfectant can be activated to kill the germs residing on the mobile phone.

Step 5 – If still any moisture left, grab a paper towel or a microfiber cloth and dab the rest of the moisture dry from the mobile casing. Wash all microfiber clothing with the laundry sanitizer and use a new one in each step. The cloth will quickly soil from the previous process, that is why we use the new cloth.

Step 6 – Now that you have cleaned the complete cell phone avoiding the ports repeat the same procedure with the mobile cover. Further, wash all microfiber cloths with a laundry sanitizer and stack them in a clean place.

Repeat the process of cleaning the cell phone for 2-3 times a week. It will help you to be safe from various germs that combine to make a more prominent virus infection in your body. These germs are the reason that people get sick often, as research states that germs travel from phone to hands and then back to new surfaces that are most likely used in their daily lives.
